How can I change my optimization schedule?

By default, Max will help you optimize your accounts monthly. As needed, you can edit or pause your optimization schedule, or set your optimizations to occur only “on-demand”.

Quick Tip: Buying a home? We recommend pausing your optimization schedule a few weeks prior to closing so that funds will stay in place until you close.

To update your optimization schedule:

1. Log into your Max Dashboard.

2. Navigate to “Profile” > “Account Settings.”

3. Click “Edit Optimization Schedule.”

4. Select your settings and click “Save.”

You can configure your Optimization Schedule in one of three ways:    

• Monthly (default): Max will help you optimize your accounts once per month.
  Max will help you keep your funds optimally allocated across your accounts each month on the day of your choice.
  
  
• Paused: Max will suspend your monthly optimizations until a date you choose.
  Preparing to buy a house? Tell Max you want to pause optimizations until after your closing date.
  
  
• On-Demand: Max will only help you optimize your accounts upon your request.
  Click "Optimize Now" on your Dashboard whenever you wish to optimize your accounts.

Regardless of which Optimization Schedule you choose, you can also request additional optimizations by clicking the green arrows to “Optimize Now” on your Max Dashboard.
