Interest & Performance

Modified on Wed, May 28 at 1:01 PM

How does interest accrue, and when is it posted?

Interest accrues daily and is posted monthly to each of your accounts directly by the banks.

Most banks post interest at the end of the month, except for Customers Bank which posts interest on the 15th, and UFB Direct which posts interest on the monthly anniversary of the date you opened your account.

Note: While optimizations and interest payments both occur on a monthly cadence, these processes occur independently from each other. If you have any questions about your interest earned, please contact us at member.services@maxmyinterest.com.

How to view your overall performance on Max:

You can view a history of your balances on Max by navigating to the “Performance” page. This will display a chart of your optimized savings balance over time. You can also view an estimate of your annualized interest income, your cumulative rate earned, and progress towards your personal goals.

How to view incremental interest earned:

To view your incremental interest earned, please refer to the monthly statements provided by your banks.
