Manage Your Max Membership

To cancel your Max Membership:

  1. Log in to your Max Dashboard and navigate to Profile > Account Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Cancel Max Membership.”
  3. Be sure to follow all the prompts to fully cancel your membership.

Please note: canceling your membership cannot be reversed. 


Upon cancellation, you will no longer benefit from the market-leading interest rates and high transfer limits that many banks choose to offer exclusively to Max members, and your interest rates and other transaction terms will revert to those offered to the general public.


Once you have canceled your Max membership, your checking and savings accounts will remain open and are yours to keep, but you will no longer be able to easily request funds transfers between your checking and savings accounts using Max or request Max’s year-end Consolidated Tax Report.


How to liquidate and close your accounts:


For your safety, Max does not have the authority to close or liquidate your bank accounts on your behalf. To close your accounts, you will need to contact your underlying banks directly.
