To avoid the risk of overdrafts, Max confirms that all transfers between your Optimized Savings and core checking account have been completed before allowing you to request additional transfers.
If you have an optimization in progress, the option to transfer funds will be grayed out on your Max Dashboard. You can view the details of your current transfers in progress by clicking the text “Optimization in progress” listed at the bottom of your Optimized Savings summary.
Optimizations typically take 2-4 business days depending on the number of transfers involved. If you have an urgent need to access your funds during an optimization, you can contact your banks directly to request a same-day wire transfer.
