If you are trying to deposit or withdraw funds from Max Checking and your account is not available on Plaid, you can connect your Max Checking account to your existing bank or credit union using your Max Checking account and routing number.
How to connect Max Checking using your account and routing number:
- Log in to your Max Dashboard.
- Click “Checking” at the top of the page.
- Click “Show Details” to display the account number and routing number associated with your Max Checking account.
- In a separate window or tab, log into your external bank’s online banking portal.
- Link your Max Checking account using your Max Checking account and routing number.
- Once your account is linked, you can use your bank’s online banking portal to set up deposits or withdrawals to/from your Max Checking account.
Note: Your bank may ask you to confirm a set of micro-deposits. To view these deposits, navigate to the “Checking” page on Max and scroll down to view your Max Checking Transaction History.
