How do I delete a linked account?

Checking

If you wish to remove Max’s link to your checking account, either to switch banks or to enroll for Max Checking, click on the gear icon next to your existing checking account on your Max Dashboard. Scroll down and follow the prompts to remove Max’s link to your existing account. You will then be prompted to link a new account.

Savings

If you need to remove Max’s link to any of your savings accounts, contact member.services@maxmyinterest.com and we would be pleased to assist.

Note: As rates change, Max helps you move your funds to the highest yielding bank(s) that you have linked to Max by sending your transfer instructions to your banks. As a result, it is generally advantageous to keep as many savings accounts as possible linked to Max.
