Moving funds from a savings account that Max does not support to your other high-yield Max savings accounts is easy. All you need to do is transfer funds from the unsupported bank to your Max-linked checking account. From there, Max will help you reallocate the funds to your other Max savings accounts.
Here’s how:
Log in to your bank’s online banking website and transfer funds to your Max-linked checking account. By default, banks transfer funds by ACH (which takes 1-3 business days), but you can also contact the bank to request a same-day wire transfer if you prefer.
Note: if you use Max Checking, you can find the ABA routing number and account number for your Max Checking account by clicking “Checking” at the top of your Max Dashboard.
Once the funds become available in your Max-linked checking account, Max will help you move these funds to your high-yielding Max savings accounts as part of your next scheduled optimization.
